The premiere of Big Little Lies Season 2 is only a few days away, but it looks like Nicole Kidman has dropped some major spoilers about what could happen when the series returns. The Golden Globe Best Actress awardee may have revealed that things are not what they appear to be in the second season.

Interestingly, it could mean that Mery Streep's character has a different motivation for showing up in Monterey. What could Mary Louise Wright possibly be up to in the HBO show?

In the first season finale, it was finally revealed that Madeline Martha Mackenzie, Celeste Wright, Jane Chapman, Bonnie Carlson, and Renata Klein had something to do with the death of Perry Wright during trivia night. However, the women told the police that Perry had attacked Celeste and accidentally fell to his death down the stairs. But is Perry truly gone? Nicole Kidman may have confirmed that Perry will be back in Big Little Lies Season 2.

Nicole Kidman recently attended the show's panel discussion where she had great things to say about Alexander Skarsgard, who plays Perry in the series. Interestingly, the Aquaman actress said, "He was the most incredible acting partner, and then he came back for Season 2."

This is certainly a shocker considering that it's Perry's death that supposed to be investigated by the police. However, Kidman quickly tried to change her statement by once again confirming that Skarsgard might still make an appearance in Big Little Lies Season 2.

"He has a little bit of a part in the sense of ... the basis of ... okay, I'll be quiet. He didn't abandon us; we'll put it that way," Kidman said. It certainly sounds like Perry will still be tormenting Celeste and the rest of the Monterey Five later this month.

There are speculations that Perry's presence will somehow be felt through Mary Louise Wright, his mother, who will be played by Meryl Streep. There is a huge possibility that Mary Louise will be in town to find out just what happened to her son during trivia night. In addition to that, she might be just as abusive of Celeste as Perry was in the first season. Fans could see plenty of screentime between Nicole Kidman and Meryl Streep in Season 2.

Will the police find out just what happened to Perry on that fateful night? Is it possible that Mary Louise will be the one to discover that the Monterey Five were responsible for her son's death? The truth will be revealed when Big Little Lies Season 2 premieres on HBO on June 9.
