SM Entertainment seems to be really busy with projects left and right for their artists. It has been confirmed by the agency that sisters Jessica Jung and f(x) Krystal are set to reunite for a reality show after the success of their Onstyle project in 2014.
According to a report by All Kpop, Jessica and Krystal will be appearing in yet another reality show entitled Jung Sisters which will follow the Kpop superstars in their adventures in the United States. SM Entertainment has released teasers for the show on June 1 and June 3 but have yet to release more information about the reality show.
It is believed that Jung Sisters will be a reality show focused on lifestyle and travel similar to the Jessica and Krystal's Onstyle reality show five years ago. This time around, the project is likely to be released as a web series.
It has previously been reported that Jessica and f(x) Krystal were both spotted at the airport on their way to San Francisco, California on June 3 so it is believed by fans that the duo were set to start filming their show there when they land. The teasers have already been making fans excited about the project.
A report by E! Online also cited that it was Jessica who hinted at the project when she was interviewed for Elle Indonesia. In the interview, she shared that she was excited to film for reality show with her sister. She said it was something new for her.
The report indicated that apart from lifestyle, the show could be exploring the sibling dynamic between Kpop superstars Jessica and f(x) Krystal who were both scouted by SM Entertainment during a holiday to Korea. Krystal was launched as a member of f(x) while Jessica became one of the members of Girls Generation. She left the group in 2014 to focus on her individual activities.
Recently, f(x) Krystal has been focusing on her acting career and appearing in dramas like The Bride of Habaek, Prison Playbook and OCN's The Player. Jessica meanwhile, grew her fashion brand Blanc & Eclare and expanded from clothing to skincare. Her success helped her launch her flagship store in New York and make it to Forbes' list of 30 Under 30 in 2017.
Fans are already excited to see the reunion project between the sisters and watch them interact with each other when they travel and experience new things, SCMP reported.
