Is it over for Jane (played by Katie Stevens) and Pinstripe, a.k.a. Ryan (played by Dan Jeannotte), in The Bold Type season 3? He confessed to her that he kissed someone while drunk and with the breakup looming, it's likely that Jane will find new love in season 4.
In The Bold Type season 3 episode 9, which aired on June 4, Jane told Pinstripe off and demanded space from her guy after he told her that he kissed a random stranger and it didn't mean anything. Devastated about his actions, Jane walked off and left Pinstripe wondering about what he has done, but he respected her wishes to let her go.
From the very start, Pinstripe has always been a player, and Jane knew his ways in The Bold Type. She, however, chose to be with him rather than Dr. Ben because, despite his tendency to sabotage himself when it comes to his love life, he truly seemed to care for Jane.
Their relationship has been going swiftly in The Bold Type season 3 until Pinstripe announced that he's going on a book tour. But Jane realized that he's still the player deep inside because he hasn't even left New York and he's already kissing someone else.
From the looks of it, Jane isn't ready to forgive Pinstripe and will likely end up staying single by the end of the season. Per the episode synopsis of The Bold Type season 3 finale, Jane will be going through an emotional fallout amid the success of her investigative piece at Scarlet.
With Ryan likely out of the way comes a potential new romance for Jane in The Bold Type season 4. Freeform announced in May that the show would return for another run next season with a new showrunner in Wendy Straker Hauser, as per Deadline.
Meanwhile, the rest of The Bold Type season 3 finale features the fashion show of Sutton (played by Meghann Fahy) after her successful design seminar. Kat (played by Aisha Dee), on the other hand, will have to face her problems after losing the elections finally. Things will become more emotional though as Adena (played by Nikohl Boosheri) returns to New York, as revealed in the teaser.
