Teen Mom 2 has another new mom to replace Jenelle Evans. Young and Pregnant star Jade Cline will officially make her way to MTV's reality series after the announcement made during the recent reunion.
Jade Cline first joined Young and Pregnant when she gave birth to her daughter, Kloie Kenna Austin, at 19-years-old. Now, her story would continue on Teen Mom 2.
When the reunion ended, Jade Cline joined the show's original characters, Catelyn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra, for a podcast. They were joined by Kailyn Lowry and her Coffee Convos co-host Lindsie Chrisley, per Us Weekly.
On the podcast, Kailyn Lowry announced Jade Cline would join Teen Mom 2. According to the new cast member, she learned that she would be a part of the show when MTV producer Kristen Schylinksi went to see her while she was on a school break. There, she invited her to join the series.
As Teen Mom had the same cast for a long while, Jade Cline felt a little awkward to accept the offer. She said she didn't want to step on anyone's toes, but Kristen Schylinksi assured her that they wanted her to come in.
Jade Cline then opened about her parents, who both suffered from addiction. She started to tear up when she began to tell the story of her father's suicide when she was only 6-months-old. Fans would know a lot of her story when she started to join Teen Mom 2.
Jade Cline's coming was announced three weeks after MTV cut ties with its longtime cast member Jenelle Evans. Her departure started when her husband, David Eason, allegedly killed her dog for biting their 2-year-old kid, Ensley, in the face by a gunshot.
"MTV ended its relationship with David Eason over a year ago in February 2018 and has not filmed any new episodes of Teen Mom 2 with him since," MTV spokesperson said in a statement, via People. "Additionally, we have stopped filming with Jenelle Eason as of April 6, 2019, and have no plans to cover her story in the upcoming season."
Jenelle Evans, on the other hand, accepted her fate and said she chose to move on with her family. She would now focus more on her kid and added she would be forever grateful and appreciative of the opportunity to be in the show for the last eight years. She also promised that it would not be the end of her or her family.
Jenelle Evans started to join Teen Mom when it began on MTV in 2011. She reportedly lost custody of her kids after her dog died. So, fans have to wait and see if Jade Cline would do well on Teen Mom 2.
