Things will slowly unravel in Big Little Lies season 2 on HBO. In the second episode, Bonnie (played by Zoe Kravitz) could finally confess to her mother Elizabeth (played by Crystal Fox) the huge part she played in the death of Perry (played by Alexander Skarsgard).
Elizabeth will arrive in Monterey in Big Little Lies season 2 episode 2. Fox's casting, which was announced last April 2018, should keep the latest storyline tense and interesting as her character and her daughter does not exactly have the best relationship.
Per Vulture, Elizabeth might be zen just like her daughter, but a part of her is still this controlling and abusive woman who has made Bonnie's childhood miserable. However, her hold on Bonnie could just be the one thing that will make her daughter confess to what happened and what she did.
Viewers will recall that it was Bonnie who pushed Perry to his death in Big Little Lies season 1. As it was revealed in the season premiere of Big Little Lies season 2, which aired last Sunday, June 9 on HBO, Bonnie has been struggling with this secret and have put the blame on Madeline (played by Reese Witherspoon) for steering the cover-up.
Meanwhile, another mother and daughter situation will be boiling over between Celeste (played by Nicole Kidman) and Mary Louise (played by Meryl Streep) in Big Little Lies season 2. The latter has been having a hard time accepting that her son is dead and while she's staying over at her daughter-in-law's home, Celeste could decide that she might have to be upfront with Mary Louise so they can all have closure.
Celeste will consult with her therapist Dr. Reisman on how to handle Mary Louise in Big Little Lies season 2 episode 2. But will she reveal to her mother-in-law that her precious son has been an abusive husband? Will Mary Louise accept what she was to say?
On the lighter side of things, Jane (played by Shailene Woodley) will be going on a date with her new co-worker, Corey, in Big Little Lies season 2 episode 1. Despite telling Jane that she and her friends have been the talk of the town because of Perry's death, Corey still thinks it would be nice to get strike a friendship with Jane.
Big Little Lies season 2 will air for eight episodes on HBO. The show airs on Sundays at 9:00 p.m.
