On June 10, K-pop girl group TWICE released music video teasers on YouTube for their Japanese singles "Happy Happy" and "Breakthrough." The teaser for "Happy "Happy features members Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Jihyo, Mina, Dahyun, Chaeyoung and Tzuyu holding colorful umbrellas before a storm of animated treats come raining down. The clip for "Breakthrough" features group members donning fancy hats and glimmering earrings.

And on June 11, TWICE officially released the MVs for both Japanese singles. “Happy Happy” and “Breakthrough” are a pair of mirror tracks, with the first meant to represent the brightness of a summer day and the latter meant to evoke the feelings of a cool summer night.

The colorful MV for "Happy Happy" shows off the girls natural and cute charm that rocketed them to popularity. “Happy Happy” is for their fourth Japanese single. It is the kind of song that puts you in a good mood and also allows the summer vibe to come through.

Meanwhile, the girls are seen showing a more mature side in chic outfits under colored gel lights for "Breakthrough," showcasing their versatility as artists to handle different styles of music. “Breakthrough” offers up a dramatic, brassier electro-pop sound that puts the nonet's silky smooth vocals front and center.

Stylistically, in “Breakthrough,” the group is seen dancing at night in sensual black outfits, similar to ones seen in the music video for “Fancy,” and imposing power suits. It is TWICE’s fifth Japanese single.

TWICE surely know how to keep us on our toes with two distinct concepts. It is clear that both themes work for them, keeping us engaged and hooked.

"Happy Happy" is set to be released on July 17 with "Breakthrough" arriving on July 24. TWICE has once again proven their undeniable power as their back-to-back Japanese comeback albums get sold out ahead of its official release.

Just days after JYP Entertainment and Warner Music Japan released a pre-order notice, the two different versions of each album already went out of stock.

The day and night concept of TWICE's comeback was a sure hit as their music videos gain more views and likes. In fact, "Breakthrough" garnered 381,000 likes making it TWICE's Japanese MV with the most likes in 24 hours (and still counting). As of writing, "Happy Happy" and "Breakthrough" already has 1.8M and 2.2M views, respectively.

Additionally, TWICE’s music video for "Fancy" passed 100 million views on YouTube in May. It was their 12th music video to reach the milestone. The group released their latest EP titled Fancy You in April.
