MBC’s Straight was the first one that reported the sexual services allegations against Yang Hyun Suk, back on April 27. Now, it is revealing another shocking revelation about the former YG Entertainment CEO.
Straight revealed that even though Yang Hyun Suk and former YG Entertainment artist PSY said that they had no idea that there was prostitution involved in 2014 when they hosted two Malaysian financiers, the source of the Straight team shared that there was sexual encounter just a day before the event.
The tipster claimed that Yang Hyun Suk arranged sex services for the Malaysian financiers from a businesswoman and entertainment company worker “Madam Jung.” "Yang asked Madam Jung to do whatever the investors wanted,” the informant said.
A month later, the unnamed source said, “Ten women from Madam Jung's business establishment in Gangnam went on a group shopping trip in France, Monaco, and elsewhere in Europe.” Malaysian billionaire Taek Jho Low was allegedly included in the trip.
PSY, who left YG Entertainment on May 2018, was the one who introduced Taek Jho to Yang Hyun Suk. The 41-year-old singer, rapper, songwriter, and record producer explained in a statement that he got to know Taek Jho Low while working overseas.
Straight stated Yang Hyun Suk hosted a dinner party in July 2014 for Taek Jho Low and another Southeast Asian financier. The broadcast then revealed that the former YG Entertainment CEO invited 25 women to the event that was held at a luxurious restaurant in Seoul. Ten of the women were allegedly from “Madam Jung.”
"We are in the process of confirming facts regarding the alleged sexual favors,” a police official said. “Investigation of the witness is also part of figuring out the facts of the case.”
PSY denied all allegations regarding his involvement in the prostitution case. He said that he and Yang Hyun Suk left the event after dinner, so he had no idea what happened after that and that if other activities were going on during the party.
After the revelation of the new claims, a representative from YG Entertainment said, “There is nothing beyond our most recent stance.”
