Now that the epic fantasy movie franchise based on Stephenie Meyer's novels is over, avid followers of the former lovers are wondering what they are, currently, up to.
Earlier this month, reports about Kristen Stewart and Stella Maxwell dating again circulated online like wildfire. It is said that the affection of Robert Pattinson and Miley Cyrus' exes for each other has not changed despite their decision to part ways in 2018. The Twilight actress and Victoria's Secret model sparked romance rumors in late 2016 after they were sighted together in Savannah, Georgia. At the time, Kristen was filming Lizzie along with Chloe Sevigny.
After that, Kristen and Stella have moved in together in Los Feliz and were sighted happily enjoying each other's company in various locations. Robert's former ladylove and the model spent a vacation in Paris, partied together with Chanel during the Fourth of July last year, and crashed a wedding in Winnipeg. The Personal Shopped star and Stella were even seen risking their loves for a photo opportunity in New Orleans.
Recently, Kristen Stewart was seen hanging out with Stella Maxwell again after six months of breakup. An unnamed source even revealed to Us Weekly that the two are now back together. They were even spotted grabbing dinner together in near the New Moon actress' home in Los Angeles. Robert Pattinson's ex-girlfriend and the model have yet to comment on the reunion reports.
Meanwhile, Robert was announced as the new Batman in May. Reports have it that Warner Bros. had closed a deal for Kristen's former beau to play the iconic superhero role in the forthcoming The Batman film. Matt Reeves would direct the movie that is set to premiere on June 25, 2021.
Aside from being the new Batman, there are also reports saying that Robert Pattinson could be the next James Bond. In a recent interview, director Danny Boyle suggested could portray the famous fictional character created by British novelist and journalist Ian Fleming. The 62-year-old English filmmaker revealed that the performance of Kristen Stewart's former lover in Claire Denis' High Light was impressive.
"And it was so bizarre, because I was sitting there thinking: 'Oh my God, they should get him to be the next Bond,'" Danny said. "He must be in his 30s. How old was Connery? He's ready now," the Yesterday director added when asked if Robert is a bit too young for the role. The ex-beau of Kristen Stewart has yet to comment on Danny's statements.
