An old cast member may be returning to Geordie Shore season 20. Rumors suggest that James Tindale has been filming his scenes for the upcoming installment.
According to Teeside Live, Tindale was spotted at a pub in Saltburn along with the rest of the cast of Geordie Shore season 20, such as Abbie Holborn, Chloe Ferry, and newcomer Bethan Kershaw. He sat down with the ladies as they dined on tapas for lunch, but others said he was only there for a visit.
The owner of the pub confirmed that Geordie Shore season 20 has been filming at his establishment. His staff was even taking photos of the cast of this popular reality show in the U.K., while reports also stated Tindale was seen at a party at a nearby bar just days before.
Tindale was an original Geordie Shore star. The show debuted on the screen in 2011 and followed the lives of a dozen single people living in the same house together. Since appearing on the show, Tindale has worked as a fitness instructor.
Geordie Shore season 20 will still have Tindale's old cast members -- Sophie Kasaei, Sam Gowland and Nathan Henry. However, another old face may be primed to return to the house, as Holly Hagan has signed on and will be appearing in the upcoming season as a semi-regular, according to Chronicle Live.
New cast members are going to be introduced in Geordie Shore season 20, though. Natalie Phillips is a 28-year-old party-goer who has mingled with the cast in the past. Kershaw, who was with Tindale at the pub, is a 24-year-old Geordie local who has appeared in The Ibiza Weekender.
Beau Brennan is a 25-year-old engineer with tons of tattoo on his body. He says that he is a single guy who loves getting attention from the ladies. Tahlia Chung, on the other hand, is 21 and is good friends with the cast of Ex on the Beach.
While controversial because the show can be bordering on pornographic, Geordie Shore has contributed to the increase in tourism in this U.K. town. The program has become quite popular that travel agents and hotel staff members attest that bookings have increased in demand, especially from 2011 to 2012.
Geordie Shore is more popular than the U.S. version, Jersey Shore, which ended its run in 2012. For now, however, it's still unclear when Geordie Shore season 20 will premiere as MTV has not made any announcements regarding the new episodes.
