More and more viewers are getting excited about what could happen next to Song Joong Ki's character in Arthdal Chronicles. Last week, a poster revealed that the character of Song Hye Kyo's husband would undergo some major changes while executing his plans to bring the Arthdal Union down. Eun Seom got devastated after Tagon (Jang Dong Gun) and his army attacked and captured members of the Wahan tribe, including Tan Ya (Kim Ji Won).
Many followers of the hit tvN series were surprised after Sa Ya, who was later learned to be the long-lost brother of Eun Som, who is seeking justice for his tribemates, was introduced. In a new video released earlier this week, Song Joong Ki and Kim Ji Won's characters have met again. However, Tan Ya did not recognize the man in front of him and asked, "Who are you?"
The next scene featured Jang Dong Gun was instructed to lift Kim Ji Won. However, while the two Arthdal Chronicles stars prepare for the challenging scene, Song Joong Ki interrupted and joked about his co-star's concerns of being too heavy. "Are you looking down on my father? He bench presses 130 kilograms (approximately 287 pounds)," Dong Gun responded to Song Hye Kyo's husband.
With the new video, it can be concluded avid followers of Arthdal Chronicles series could expect more drama and action-filled scenes in the upcoming new episodes, especially with the introduction of Song Joong Ki's new character. In the latest episode, the husband of Song Hye Kyo made his first appearance as Sa Ya. The first encounter of Sa Ya and Tan Ya happened during the June 22 episode.
For starters, Sa Ya and Eun Seom, both played by Song Joong Ki, were separated following the death of their father. Ta Gon, then, left Sa Ya with Tae Al Ha (Kim Ok Bin) and was raised in secret as his ward. Tan Ya got shocked after meeting Sa Ya upon entering the room of Eun Som's brother. Sa Ya tried to hide quickly after seeing Tan Ya.
"There will be an intangible tension in the scene where Tan Ya and Sa Ya, who is a new character for Part 2, officially meet for the first time," the Arthdal Chronicles producers revealed about Song Joong Ki and Kim Ji Won's characters. "What will happen after Sa Ya, who longs to escape his tower, and Tan Ya, who yearns for revenge against Arthdal, meet for the first time? To find out what their eventful destiny holds, tune in to the June 22 episode [of the drama]," they went on.
