"DOTA Underlords" is the latest auto-chess custom game in the popular "Dota" franchise. The game is an AI-based strategy title where you have to strategize while the AI runs a combat simulation to select a winner from among the seven players that will be in the Underlords. In "Dota Underlords," you will be up against seven enemies with a given number of units released in the arena. The game comes in several rounds and after every round, you can select a starting hero from a set of five heroes. When the battle starts, the heroes will have to fight against one another as commanded by the AI, which will determine the result based on the characteristics and strength of the selected heroes.
After every round, you will be allowed to purchase a hero from a set of five random heroes that you can instantly add to your deck of heroes. But, because of the population limit in "Dota Underlords," there is a limit set on the number of heroes that can be deployed on the board. You will lose a particular amount of HP based on the number of heroes left and the damage that your heroes took after every round. The player that loses all his HP will be removed from the game and the last remaining player is declared the winner.
Alliances
Forge alliances in the battlefield by utilizing the units that back each other and share the same characteristics. This will provide you with synergetic buff, which means that the result of the alliance will be bigger than the energy of every hero combined. There are various kinds of alliances and each entails a particular amount of heroes to be on the board to achieve the Alliance Synergy buff.
It is worth noting that cards with similar heroes do not fill the Alliance status bar. Every time you are allowed to buy characters, strategize by getting heroes that can provide you with your required Alliance to gain an advantage on the battlefield.
Upgrade Your Heroes
In "Dota Underlords," your heroes could also be upgraded to their next levels. By upgrading, you are improving the stats of the heroes and enabling them to cause damage than they used to in their previous levels. Upgrading your heroes will help you secure your win in the game.
You must have three cards containing the same hero of the same levels to be able to upgrade in "Dota Underlords."
