It was a few weeks ago when NVIDIA teased about SUPER, and many were speculating that the company was hyping about its more powerful line of GPUs. And, most of those speculations were true. NVIDIA unravels its faster versions of its proprietary 2060, 2070, and 2080 graphics processing units arriving this month with interesting price ranges.
After a series of wild speculations, NVIDIA finally unveils its SUPER EDITIONS in its RTX 20 series under a year since the series was launched and released in the market. In addition to its shiny chrome finish, the Super Edition greatly varies from its base models in terms of performance and in price. Both the 2060 and the 2070 Super Editions will arrive on July 9 while the 2080 Super Edition will be available starting July 23.
NVIDIA will not release any overclocked version of the models but when each Super Edition releases, a Founder's Edition will also be available online. When it comes to hierarchy in terms of performance, the NVIDIA RTX 2080 Ti is the best graphics card in the entire line of RTX products while the RTX 2060 is the entry-level GPU with ray-tracing capability.
RTX 2060 Super is 22 percent faster than its counterpart RTX 2060. It houses 8GB of memory and faster than the GTX 1080. It is available for only $399 starting July 9. RTX 2070 Super, on the other hand, is 24 percent faster compared to its RTX 2070 counterpart for the same price of $499. It will be available starting July 9.
Meanwhile the RTX 2080 Super Edition offers an increased memory speed of up to 15.5 Gbps and approximately 10 to 15 percent faster compared to the RTX 2080 at the same price tag of $699. This powerful GPU will be available starting July 23. Nvidia is also offering a limited time deal that gives free copies of "Control and Wolfenstein: Youngblood" for purchases of any Super graphics cards and desktop PCs starting July 9.
