There could be more to explore in Delos Park when Westworld season 3 returns on HBO in 2020. Fans have apparently figured out that a War World will be coming soon but it's still unclear how this will fit into the new season.
According to a post on Reddit, a War World domain has been registered with the same company that has handled other websites related to Westworld. The HBO show also owns the domain to the Shogun World, which was revealed in the second season along with The Raj, an Imperial British India park.
Fans have assumed that War Wold could be a World War II theme park where Westworld season 3 guests could pretend to go after Nazis, according to Inverse. Delos Parks, after all, is a vast space with Westworld as the main attraction.
While it's still a long way before Westworld season 3 premieres on HBO, the network has released a teaser to reveal that Breaking Bad actor Aaron Paul is joining the new season. He actually voices the narration in the video clip and hints that his character lives in the real world.
However, Paul's still-unnamed character laments that everything is all a lie and perhaps he is alluding to the people that operate Delos Parks. He also chances upon Dolores (played by Evan Rachel Wood) in one scene and wonders if she needed any help because she's injured. How this encounter will end up is anyone's guess but Dolores has been unhinged and unpredictable since the second season.
Meanwhile, HBO officials have confirmed that Westworld season 3 will film in Singapore. According to reports, talent agencies in the region have fielded posts on Facebook for children and adults of Asian descent to audition for an HBO project.
Some eagle-eyed fans of Westworld in Europe, however, also spotted Thandie Newton (as Maeve) filming in Spain and she was wearing a 1940s costume. Speculations are that she has been given another life on Westworld season 3 and will likely become part of War World.
Westworld creator Lisa Joy said that not every AI escaped to the real world at the end of the chaos in Westworld season 2. Thus, some of them will still be back to do their park scenes over and over again.
HBO has not yet confirmed the release date for Westworld season 3. However, the show will likely be set in the spring season in 2020.
