Many fans were devastated after it was confirmed that Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo are ending their marriage. The news broke the hearts of the pair's avid followers, who have been following them since they starred in the 2016 hit series titled Descendants of the Sun. Now, new reports claim that, besides the fans, the current project of the 32-year-old South Korean actor got affected by the split announcement.

Arthdal Chronicles is, reportedly, struggling to regain its glory days as its rating continues to plummet. As a matter of fact, the June 29 episode of tvN series got a 5.8% average. The latest rating is significantly lower than the previous one, which garnered a total of 6.5% average. Several showbiz spectators predicted that the shocking divorce announcement of Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo would affect the show. Despite this, devoted followers of The Innocent Man are still hopeful that the future episodes would rate higher than its predecessors.

A lot of people expected Arthdal Chronicles to soar high in the rating game, especially with Song Joong Ki being one of its lead stars. The hype for the new tvN series remained high after it was revealed that the television show cost more than $40 million. However, since it premiered, the series has been getting approximately 5% to 7% ratings per episode.

Meanwhile, Song Joong Ki and the rest of the cast of Arthdal Chronicles are up for another set of adventures in the forthcoming new episode titled "Part 2: The Skye Turning Inside Out, Rising Land: Episode 11." Spoilers suggested that Tagon (Jang Dong Gun) would try to interrogate Tanya (Kim Ji Won) about the revelations he learned from Mubaek. Tagon found out that Tanya and the other members of the Wahan tribe are descendants of Asa Sin.

Because of this, Tagon, also, knew that Tanya would be the successor of Asa Sin, who is also known to be the Great Mother. When Tagon asked Tanya if these details are accurate and true, the leading lady of Song Joong Ki's character just ignored the first son of Arthdal Union leader San Ung. However, despite Tanya's resistance to spill the beans to Tagon, she has been getting supernatural powers lately, which include the ability to read a person's mind.

The forthcoming Arthdal Chronicles Season 1 Episode 11 is set to premiere on Saturday, July 6, at 9 p.m. on tvN and Netflix. Stay tuned to Business Times for the latest news and updates about Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo.
