T.O.P will be discharged on July 6, but fans just can’t seem to wait for that day. They have been anticipating the completion of his mandatory military service so bad that they have been checking up on him as much as they can.
Well, it seems that their effort was not put into waste as they spotted the BIGBANG star days before his official discharge. Despite being covered up from head to toe, eagle-eyed fans still recognized the 31-year-old rapper, singer, songwriter, record producer, and actor walking in public.
A Facebook fan page dedicated to T.O.P shared a picture of the BIGBANG star wearing full winter gear. Other people on the shot were wearing light casual clothes, which gives the impression that the weather was not that cold at the time when the snap was taken.
But it seems that T.O.P decided to wear heavy clothing to avoid public attention and protect himself from paparazzi. However, he failed to do that as the public still recognized him, and photos of him were taken. The Facebook fan page noted that it was taken on July 2, 2019, just four days before his discharge.
T.O.P was supposed to be relieved from his position as a public service worker at the Yongsan Crafts Museum on July 8. Now, he is set to be released on July 6, two days earlier than expected.
“The Yongsan Crafts Office, where T.O.P is currently serving as a public service worker, operates as normal on Saturday,” a Yongsan source said. “On Monday (July 8), it is a day where the museum is not open. Therefore, once T.O.P finishes his shift on Saturday, July 6, at 6 pm, he will be discharged.”
This release is a long time coming for T.O.P and the fans. The BIGBANG star had a tough year back in 2017 when his marijuana controversy broke while he was serving his compulsory duties.
The stress caught up to him, and he ended up in the hospital after taking a dangerous amount of anxiety pills. Fortunately, T.O.P survived the ordeal and was allowed to continue his enlistment.
Although T.O.P is probably scared that people might not accept after his scandal, many expressed that they forgave the BIGBANG star a long time ago. VIPs are rooting for him and have been waiting for his return.
