J-Hope is known for his cheerful personality and beautiful smile. With that said, the last thing that he’s expecting to be dubbed as is being a trendsetter.
Being a member of BTS, J-Hope is automatically a style icon whether he likes it or not. But this particular trend that the other members were copying from him had nothing to do with style or fashion at all.
You see, Big Hit Entertainment announced that they would be launching an official fan community called the BTS Weverse. This is a platform where Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Rm, Jimin, V, and Jungkook can update the fans and communicate with them.
But the boys took things to a different level and used BTS Weverse as an opportunity to tease each other. The victim of choice at the moment? J-Hope.
The 25-year-old rapper, songwriter, dancer, and record producer innocently shared a photo of his feet doing a “V” sign. He was wearing a pair of comfortable slippers as he was lounging in his plane cubicle.
J-Hope probably thought it was just a cute idea to share to the fans. But his members had other plans after seeing his post.
Jimin posted an identical photo like J-Hope’s and tagged the latter so he could see it. Jungkook also did the same pose in the same plane but his cubicle. V then shared a photo of his bare feet in his cubicle as well.
RM also decided to be a part of the trend and shared a snap of his feet. Lastly, it was Mr. Worldwide Handsome himself Jin who did the same pose on the same plane, and captioned it: “If I upload a picture like this, does it get on the feed?” (See tweets here).
After learning that his members followed his pose, J-Hope was so confused about it. He later posted: “Why is everyone imitating me!!!!” Jungkook replied to his post but didn’t give him the response that he wanted.
The golden maknae only said, “I don’t know!” Jungkook was either making him guess the reason why they were following his pose, or even he didn’t know why they were doing it. None of the boys revealed why they decided to follow J-Hope’s pose, but it is fair to assume that they were just playing around.
BTS is known for teasing each other, but not in a mean way. They consider each other as family, and they joke around like real brothers.
