Warning: This article contains spoilers for The Hills: New Beginnings Episode 4 that may spoil your enjoyment in discovering its plotlines. Read at your own risk.
The reboot is only a miniseries with five episodes, thus Episode 4 works as the show's penultimate episode. Although its title bears the words "new beginnings," it looks like it is still the same as the original as everything that is happenings seems oddly familiar.
Just like the late 2000s MTV reality series, The Hills: New Beginnings also features the never-ending drama of Audrina Patridge and Justin Bobby. It also spotlights Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt's problems with the relationships around them.
In The Hills: New Beginnings Episode 4, fans are about to witness a "he said, she said" drama. According to CarterMatt, there will be one character that will be defending itself from the group.
In a clip from Entertainment Weekly, Audrina seems to be in a familiar situation that she has been through over a decade ago. The 34-year-old star told Stephanie Pratt that Justin is both "super hot and cold" with her, while they went plant shopping.
Stephanie then revealed Justin came to her apartment to check on her after her blowout with Spencer and Heidi at her welcome back party. To recall, Justin already caused issues between the original The Hills cast members before when she dated Kristin Cavallari that annoyed Audrina.
Ahead of The Hills: New Beginnings Episode 4 release, its Episode 2's ratings have come out, and it looked pretty mixed up. Its usual 18-49 demo ratings dropped from 0.4 to 0.3. The show has also registered under 600,000 total live viewers.
However, although the numbers don't look enormously high, it is also not the lowest low. Some youngsters even check the show, even though it is a reboot of a classic MTV reality series.
But, it remains to be seen how many people exactly watch the series, knowing its summer season and The Hills: New Beginnings viewers will probably choose to set their DVRs and watch it at the time they like. So, the series' long-term viability will be tested when its ratings come out in the next few weeks - that is if fans stick to watch the series from its first release until its end.
The Hills: New Beginnings only has one episode left to feature when Episode 4 comes out on July 15. The show airs every Monday at 10 p.m. on MTV.
