The most recent episode of The 100 Season 6 takes its audience in a very emotional ride. As any fan would recall, episode 8 titled, The Old Man and The Anomaly, featured Octavia and Diyoza’s journey to the anomaly in search for the Old Man.
As the two approaches the anomaly, Octavia, and Diyoza obtained hallucinations. Along with Gabriel, who warned them that entering the anomaly offers no assurance of returning, waited for them as to what will happen next after walking right into the anomaly. Surprisingly, Octavia ran out all healed, but she passed out immediately before reaching to Gabriel.
This episode left the fans in the dark as no one knows what happens inside the anomaly. It is also the reason why the following episode titled, What You Take With You, has become a much-awaited installment for The 100 Season 6.
As it happens, the previously aired episode immediately picked up where it last left off. And that is with Octavia and Gabriel. As soon as Octavia woke up, Gabriel asked her what happened insider the anomaly. This is also in consideration of the fact that her looks and appearance have improved tremendously.
However, Octavia does not recall any memory of walking inside the memory. Of course, Gabriel had to make ways to learn the truth. And so he did after injecting Octavia a toxin from the anomaly.
While the fandom is expecting for major surprises, this episode of The 100 Season 6 largely featured the subject of redemption. As it happened, Octavia finally remembered her memories from the past. But unfortunately, these are all painful and heartbreaking. This is why, at the end of the episode, the character went on to redeem herself by saving the others.
These storylines that feature Octavia and Diyoza are some of the most fan-favorites. And with its course that continuously improves as the season progresses, the most recent episode has largely proved this point to its fans as per Entertainment Weekly. Accordingly, things will certainly be much more thrilling and exciting for Octavia and Diyoza’s courses.
While the plot improvements will surely occur in the following episodes, it is worth noting that there are now only four episodes left for The 100 Season 6. But even so, the show has been renewed already for another season.
The 100 Season 6 Episode 10 titled, Matryoshka, is set to premiere on July 16, on The CW.
