It's been confirmed that Park Yoochun, who was convicted of drug charges, is on MBC's 'prohibited cast' list.

According to an MBC official sunday, Park Yoochun was placed on MBC's list of suspended appearances in May when a police investigation was underway for the singer's drug charges.

Park Yoochun came under fire when his former fiancee and Namyang Dairy granddaughter Hwang Hana, who was arrested in early April on drug charges alleged that she injected drugs with entertainer 'A'. Yoochun 'A' held a press conference and refuted the allegations but a drug analysis by the National Forensic Service team revealed that the singer had taken drugs. Yoochun was then arrested and put on trial for drug charges and sentenced to a suspended 10-month prison term with 2-yr probation.

It was on May 15th when MBC placed Park on the list of banned appearances after deliberating with their self-review committee.

Yoochun had not appeared on an MBC program for years but according to officials, "the suspension appears to have been made official during the investigation".
