Alana De La Garza is making her way to FBI Season 2, leaving FBI: Most Wanted behind. The 43-year-old star will continue playing her role as Assistant Special Agent in Charge (A.S.A.C.) Isobel Castile in the original show as a series regular.

Instead of making her way to the spinoff series, De La Garza joins FBI Season 2 instead, per Deadline. She is about to play the same character she has FBI: Most Wanted but will do it in the original series rather.

However, fans will still see De La Garza playing Castile's role in FBI: Most Wanted as a recurring guest star. The Law & Order star will fill the void that Sela Ward, who played as Special Agent in Charge Dana Mosier, left after her departure following FBI Season 1's conclusion.

Meanwhile, talking about FBI Season 2, Missy Peregrym, who plays as Special Agent Maggie Bell, revealed there would be a lot of changes happening in the series this year. "You'll never know where it is going to go," she teased in an interview with Entertainment Tonight Canada.

The 37-year-old star admitted she now feels pressured for the new season because she wants everything to go well. She also answered the questions about fans' desire to pair her to Zeeko Zaki, who portrays Special Agent Omar Adom 'OA' Zidan's role, in the series.

"It's crazy," she said. Peregrym explained Bell and Zidan are partners in the show. And although it is normal for fans to ship for them, he is like a brother to her.

However, she is not refusing the chances that Bell and Zidan may end up together because she said no one knows what will happen in the future. They have chemistry on the small screen, and things may get serious between them in FBI Season 2.

Also, comparing his character as Bell to her real personality in real life, Peregrym said they both have Type A personality. Although Bell is often cracked and has found it hard to get herself together at times, she is still comfortable to play her role because of their similarities.

FBI Season 2 will continue to follow the story of the crack team of Federal Bureau of Investigation agents. Aside from Peregrym and Zaki, it also stars Jeremy Sisto as Assistant Special Agent in Charge Jubal Valentine and Ebonee Noel as Analyst Kristen Chazal. Together, they solve crimes in New York. The new season is set to be out on Tuesday, Sept. 24, at 9 p.m. ET/PT on CBS.
