On Wednesday, Forbes has finally released its Celebrity 100 for 2019. Of course, everyone is quite excited to learn who made it to the top 100 of highest-paid celebrities for this year. And quite shockingly, Taylor Swift is placed at number one.
With total earnings of $185 million, the ME! Artist was able to beat the Kardashian clan, which surprised a lot of people. And aside from the Kardashian-Jenner household, the Lover singer also beats several NBA players like Steph Curry, Kyrie Irving, and LeBron James.
Football players like Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Neymar are also on the list. Jay-Z, Beyoncé, and Kanye West also made it to the list but places under the pop singer. Other notable personalities like J.K. Rowling, Ryan Seacrest, and Dr. Phil McGraw are also some of the highest-paid celebrities of 2019.
In Hollywood, the most distinguished actors that made it to the list are the cast of the popular Avengers. And this is only suitable considering that the franchise offers highly rated films of all time including the most recent Avengers: Endgame and Avengers: Infinity War. But whoever makes it to the list, one thing remains for sure – Taylor Swift is the world's highest-paid celebrity of 2019.
It is worth noting that Taylor already bags the top spot even if her album, Lover, is not yet released. And since the seventh album is just about to drop, the album tour is just about to happen as well. So, when these factors are regarded after, her total earnings will surely rise.
This will leave a huge gap between her and Kylie Jenner as the latter is reported to have total earnings of $170 million, followed by Kanye West at $150 million.
This current achievement certainly made the ME! Artist quite happy and thrilled. And with the recent clashes that she has with Scooter Braun and Scott Borchetta, many fans believed that this is truly rewarding on her end.
