On May 28, the new season of Wentworth has finally arrived. And just like that, the newly arrived installment of the show is already approaching its imminent end.
Unfortunately for the fans, the most recent season of the show only houses a total of ten episodes. And this is a much shorter course in comparison to the previous installments which features a total of 12 episodes. So, it is not surprising at all as to why Wentworth Season 7 is now reaching its finale.
Aside from the fact that the show is already starting to wrap things up, it seemingly appears that things are becoming more complicated for everyone. And this only goes to show that the new season would probably end with a much “bloodier” and more thrilling season finale.
As any fan would recall, one of the show’s popular screenwriter has hinted a few months ago that Wentworth Season 7 will be totally “epic.” He referred to the new season as his most favorite installment of the show.
With these descriptions at hand, it somehow gave the fans an idea as to how the show will progress and improve. And in considering that it already offers deeper, darker, and graver plots as the women in prison discover the real-life behind bars, it only goes to show that season 7 will be much messier.
These notions have become very apparent in the recent episodes of Wentworth Season 7. And one great example is featured on Episode 7 titled, Bad Blood when Ruby and her surprising burst brain aneurysm opened the storyline of the installment. Alongside Ruby, Rita is also seen to slashing her wrists which ultimately brought her in isolation.
Although these things that have happened in the latest episode are not the main and focal point, it still shows that the series has revolutionized its tone and dynamic. Even so, the fans are loving and enjoying more of it.
Wentworth Season 7 Episode 8 titled, Protection, is set to air on July 16, on Showcase. And as for the fans who are waiting for its arrival on Netflix US, it has been now confirmed that the new season of ten episodes will finally arrive on July 31, on the streaming giant. And December 2019 on Netflix Canada.
Sadly for the subscribers of Netflix UK and Netflix Australia, the show is not available on these platforms.
