If you're a fan of the drama unfolding in The Bachelorette Season 15, you are probably familiar with Jed Wyatt who is being rumored as Hannah Brown's final choice at the end of the show. It probably comes as no secret that speculation is rife that he is also going to get dumped by The Bachelorette at the end of the two-episode finale because of his ex-girlfriend issues. Now, Jed has revealed that the show's angry fans are targeting his family and he is not standing for it.
In an Instagram post, Jed Wyatt revealed the extent of harassment that his family has been receiving from fans of the show after Jed's ex-girlfriend Haley Stevens came out to the public recently. According to Haley, she and Jed still saw each other when he signed up for the show. Even worse, she revealed that the only reason Jed joined the show was to gain exposure to further his music career, posted Cinema Blend.
Jed's image has taken a huge hit from this revelation, and because the finale is still a few episodes away, fans of the show have no means of confirming whether the rumors are true. It was rumored that Jed came clean to Hannah at some point before the final episode was filmed, but it was unsure what extent The Bachelorette contestant revealed about his relationship with Haley.
In his post, Jed appealed to fans to stop harassing is family online. He also revealed that his family has been receiving threatening phone calls and that his parents and sister have been verbally abused in public because of the ex-girlfriend drama.
"It goes beyond what is said online. Threatening letters and phone calls have been sent to our homes. My parents and sister are verbally attacked in public. I beg you to remember what seems like a harmless action is damaging to real people," he appealed in his Instagram post.
Jed also promised to answer all the questions about Haley and Hannah after the airing of the final episode on July 30. He promised to clarify the rumors and speculation surrounding his relationship with the two women, but until then, he reiterated his appeal to the public to refrain from hurtful and malicious attacks that are taking a toll on his family's physical and mental health.
"I want to thank all of you who have reached out or reserved judgment until I am able to speak openly and I can only ask for your patience and kindness until then," he ended his post.
