Just a few hours after Forbes has released its Celebrity 100 of 2019 and letting the whole world know that Taylor Swift is the world’s highest-paid celebrity of the year, the You Need To Calm Down singer went on to headline the Amazon Prime Day Concert on July 10.
She sang her recently released singles, ME! and You Need To Calm Down, from her upcoming album, Lover. And alongside the new ones that she has, Taylor ended her set with her popular 2014 Shake It Off.
Everything is going well as she entertains the crowd. But when the bridge of the track has come to pass, the fans have noticed that Taylor is screaming a different set of lyrics that she intendedly included for the performance. And she went on claiming the words, “liars” and “dirty cheats” before continuing the original form the song as per Hollywood Life.
While there is no direct indication as to who she is referring to, the fandom is pretty convinced that this is a call out for Scooter Braun and Scott Borchetta about their recent disputes about the masters of her six albums. These speculations and theories had become so much more popular when the fans shared these notions on social media, and Taylor Swift “liked” these posts.
According to E!, the fans claimed that everyone could see the “anger” and “disgust” that Taylor had when she exclaimed those words during the performance. Also, there are comments that Taylor is referring to Scott and Scooter to which most of the audience are agreeing to.
But even so, Taylor Swift has pointed out that she has been very proud of writing all of her music and tracks. And what’s even more rewarding is when the fans are loving them, and they all sing it back to her. She thinks it is the “coolest” feeling of all.
After the event, no word has heard from her side yet. So, whether it is true or not that she has called out Scooter Braun and Scott Borchetta, no one knows. Nevertheless, her actions speak loudly. And there is no denying to the fact that she is truly angry and disappointed with the situation that she has with Scooter and Scott.
But for all the fans know, Taylor Swift will certainly continue to fight for the rights and masters of her first six albums to which many artists and fans gladly support.
