After Prince Harry married Meghan Markle last year, people have started to compare her to Kate Middleton. While they are, of course, two separate individuals, fans and critics enjoy emphasizing their similarities and differences.
Recently, the Duchess of Cambridge and the Duchess of Sussex have compared once again after the latter demanded too much privacy for her family. While she has all the right to do this, Meghan was criticized for doing so.
“Good Morning Britain” host Piers Morgan and American actress Tatum O’Neal talked about this matter, and they both agreed that Kate Middleton is a lot better when it comes to handling fame. “I think she gets it, I think Kate gets it,” O’Neal said. “She gets the lack of privacy, and I hope that they’re not fighting, I hope not,” she added.
Morgan, who is not a huge fan of Meghan Markle, told O’Neal that the Duchess of Cambridge and the Duchess of Sussex are not exactly the best of friends. The actress then noted that she also heard of this speculation in the United States.
“I’m told from people who are in there that there’s a real problem, there is a problem,” Morgan said. “Can you imagine, though? It seems to me that they could not be nicer people. Like how do you not get on with Kate and William, like how?” O’Neal responded.
However, a spokesperson for the Palace said that the rumors aren’t true. Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle have attended several events together, and the pair appeared to be on good terms.
But when Prince Harry and Megan Markle split from Prince William and Kate Middleton’s Royal Foundation, rumors that the Cambridges and Sussexs' are having some problems with each other started to swirl once again.
Prince William and Prince Harry grew up very close. And although the Princes have their own families now, it is quite evident that they still have that special bond.
So if the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have separated from Prince William and Kate’s Royal Foundation, there must be a good reason for it. Leaving the foundation because of some personal drama seems to be pretty ridiculous. Princess Diana, Prince Charles, and the Queen taught Prince William and Prince Harry better than that.
