Read at your own risk: This article contains spoilers for Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 6.

Time flies so fast and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 6 is about to wrap things up. As it happens, the series is currently on its way to its ninth episode. So, fans and viewers would need to catch-up already with the course of the show.

But based on the official synopsis of the upcoming episode, there is no more time for catching-up for the team as there is a planet that will need saving.

Previously, the show has featured the first part of the Collision Course episode. And while everyone is asking for help, the agents on Earth mistakenly look for them in all the wrong places. So, instead of straightening things out, it made matters more complicated.

Of course, many are seeing this course as the preparation and introduction to the ultimate endgame of the season. Hence, the current situation is expected to get worse as the season progresses. The succeeding episodes already hinted that an “impending doom” and “enemy” is about to approach.

And while the majority of the fans is eyeing for a great finale for the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 6, the final moments of the installment will offer a “huge question mark” to the viewers, Jed Whedon, the showrunner of the series, revealed in an interview as per Hypable.

Aside from the huge question mark, the finale of the sixth season will also provide a very unsatisfying finale. Hence, the fans will surely be dismayed in terms of the course of the plot. But even so, this does not mean that Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 6 will not be a great season for the series.

It is worth noting that Clark Gregg, the popular face of Agent Coulson, shared in an interview recently that the current is one of the best installments of the show. Also, he believes that each season is a much better version of the previous runs.

Accordingly, he largely tip-offs that Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 7 will be bigger, better, and bolder than the current run of the show.

The preparations for the new season are already at hand. Since season 6 has a total of five episodes left, the groundworks for the upcoming installment just fits to start with. And while the information for season 7 is tremendously scarce, the production and cast hint that the succeeding episodes and seasons will be exciting and fun for everyone.

Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 6 Episode 9 titled, Collision Course (Part II), is set to air on July 12, on ABC.
