Teresa Mendoza (played by Alicia Braga) is supposed to be on a day off in Queen of the South season 4 episode 7. However, her plans have to change after she learns that a sicario is hunting her down.
According to the episode synopsis, this sicario who goes after Teresa was from her previous life. Queen of the South season 4 episode 7 is curiously titled as "Amores Perros," and it's set to air on Thursday, July 18, at 10:00 p.m. on USA Network.
While this phrase translates to "loves dogs," the words "Amores Perros" may also imply a bad relationship. Is this sicario someone that Teresa has crossed in the past, and could this be the best way to describe her relationship with this man?
In the teaser to Queen of the South season 4 episode 7, Teresa is seen running away from someone chasing her. The clip ends with a man down, and Teresa is gripping him by the neck while asking who sent him to hunt her down.
Meanwhile, Queen of the South season 4 episode 6 saw Teresa making amends with Marcel Dumas (played by Alimi Ballard) thus ending their deadly battle. However, the actual war is not yet finished as Teresa vowed to go after the real enemy, this time with Dumas at her side.
After all the bloodshed, the two have agreed that they must go after Judge LaFayette (played by David Andrews). He was the one calling the shots for when this war must stop or continue.
The judge has blackmailed both Teresa and Dumas. As soon as he has milked either one of them for money, he'll have them arrested if they soon run out of ways to pay him off.
Teresa was wise to figure it all out and discussed this predicament with Dumas, who fortunately agreed that she was right. After saying their apologies and making arrangements to support the families left by those who were killed in their war, the new plan now is to let the judge rot in prison in Queen of the South season 4. When that happens, Teresa and Dumas can continue their business in peace in New Orleans.
Judge LaFayette has no idea what's coming after him. In the meantime, however, Teresa will have to enjoy her short break in Queen of the South season 4 episode 7.
