Is PSY offering refunds to his concert because of Yang Hyun Suk's sex scandal?
An Interpark official released a statement via Sports Today on the 18th and stated, "The refund requests for cancellation of PSY's "2019 Summer Swag" concert are in full effect. The performance is 100% fully refundable due to the artist's personal issue. Due to the audience's strong opposition to the event, the artist PSY had decided to honor refunds 100%."
The issue was triggered by suspicions of PSY's involvement in Yang Hyun Suk's s*x scandal. PSY admitted that he introduced billionaire Jho Low to Yang Hyun Suk, who hosted a party for the billionaire in September 2014 where Yang Hyun Suk, the former YG CEO, allegedly mobilized prostitutes for the event.
As a result of the scandal, there has been a flurry of requests for refunds by concert-goers for tickets purchased to PSY's event.
Fans that want to cancel their ticket purchase must make the cancellation by the date of the event. For example, in the case of his Busan concert to be held on the 19th, the cancellation must be made by 5pm on the same day. The full ticket price including the delivery fee will be 100% refunded.
So far only Yang Hyun Suk has been booked by police for the charges.
