Callie (played by Maia Mitchell) is going to working for two bosses at the Legal Aid offices in Good Trouble season 2 episode 7. How she ends up at this predicament isn't entirely her doing as Marcus (played by Juan Antonio), and Teresa (played by Lisandra Tena) are having a power struggle.
In the video teaser for Good Trouble season 2 episode 7, Callie notices that Marcus and Teresa are arguing. A co-worker tells Callie that Teresa has prevented Marcus from getting the top job at one of the other offices, while another chime in to say that Teresa could be out of a job soon with Marcus taking over.
Callie nonchalantly replies that she figured they have been arguing about something personal, suggesting that the people at work think that Marcus and Teresa are lovers. After their heated argument, Teresa calls on Callie to work with her for the day, and when she interjected that Marcus had asked her for some files, Teresa tells Callie to forget about Marcus because he works for her and not the other way around.
Good Trouble season 2 episode 7 is aptly titled "In the Middle," and it doesn't just apply to Callie's work problems. Mariana (played by Cierra Ramirez) is also in a tough spot this week as her app launch has been moved up.
As it is, Mariana is already struggling to balance her work to finish the app, but Gael (played by Tommy Martinez) just landed a new deal and asked Mariana to help out. Per the episode synopsis of Good Trouble season 2 episode 7 Mariana is supposed to be preparing for a big presentation for the launch, but now she's in the middle of another work. How will she get through this?
Meanwhile, Good Trouble season 2 episode 6 was supposed to be a fabulous party for Malika's (played by Zuri Adele) 25th birthday. However, the occasion was marred by some drama at the Coterie.
Malika has asked her friends that instead of giving gifts, they must share their talent. She gave each of them a word as inspiration for what they can create to perform in front of the group.
Good Trouble season 2 episode 6 was quite a political but also an interesting party, especially after Alice (played by Sherry Kwan) surprised everyone with her performance of "Bang Bang Boom" in full costume and makeup. Joey (played by Daisy Eagan) couldn't believe the sight of her girlfriend, but it made her realize that she was more into Alice than she thought.
Davia (played by Emma Hunton), on the other hand, performs a simple song with Dennis (played by Josh Pence) to accompany her with the guitar in Good Trouble season 2 episode 6. In the middle of their performance, however, Dennis told her that he slept with her mother.
Initially, Davia was upset at the revelation, but she realized this was all her mothers' ploy. She told Dennis her mother propositioned him to get back at Davia. Dennis also had a realization that night and now worries that he has hurt his best friend.
