While Prince William looks more similar to his mother Princess Diana in his looks and temperament, Prince Harry has inherited a fair share of the late princess's personality as well. Royal experts are saying that Princess Di's youngest has a lot of things in common with his mother outside the realm of the public eye.
According to royal commentator Victoria Arbiter, daughter of Princess Diana's longtime press secretary Dickie Arbiter, Prince Harry shares a lot of aspects of his mother's personality which she witnessed in her years growing up in the palace. According to Arbiter, the public is not very aware that the late princess has a very cheeky, mischievous side, which they do not normally see as she performs her official functions, Hello! Magazine reported.
Arbiter recounted an incident in Price Harry's youth when his brother Prince William was giving a speech on behalf of the royal family and Harry was tugging at his mother's skirts, seeking attention. Giving in to frustration at her younger son's demands, Princess Diana tried to shush him by saying, "shut up, Harry, one minute. One minute."
"That was another just example of their personalities. Harry just busy and wanting to be in the midst of everything and chatty, and I suppose what he shares with Diana is his cheeky, mischievous, naughty side that you see play out. William embodies so many of Diana's qualities as well but in a much quieter fashion," Arbiter said.
Before her death, Princess Diana has been known for her closeness with her two sons, William and Harry. It comes as no surprise that both her children share her qualities. While the older prince is cool and collected, Harry is not shy about showing his more outgoing personality with his ready smile and the mischievous twinkle in his eye.
Prince Harry also shares his mother's love for the family's holiday home in Balmoral, where she often spent her free time. According to Victoria's father Dickie, the Duke of Sussex often reconnects with his mother by spending time in the place that was close to her heart.
According to Arbiter, who authored the book On Duty With The Queen, Harry spends a lot of time in Balmoral, which his mother once considered a home away from home. Depending on his commitments, the prince spends at much as 10 days with his family, relaxing, walking, and enjoying the peace that the Scottish property has to offer.
