Brad Pitt is very single and could date whoever he wants — except a married woman. This is all too familiar territory for the actor, as he was criticized before for allegedly ruining his marriage with Jennifer Aniston to be with Angelina Jolie.
Now, a new report claims that the 55-year-old actor and film producer confessed his love for Margot Robbie. While that sounded sweet, that is very controversial if proven to be true because the Suicide Squad actress is still very married to assistant director Tom Ackerley. However, NW claimed that the marriage is falling apart.
The tabloid alleged that the reason why Tom Ackerly was not present to accompany his wife during the Los Angeles premiere of her new movie Once Upon a Time in Hollywood last week was because their marriage is not going well. “She seemed incredibly lonely and in the moments where she wasn’t being kept busy, she looked as if she may burst into tears,” a source said.
The insider claimed that Tom Ackerley is not too pleased with Brad Pitt and Margot Robbie’s friendship. The married couple is allegedly arguing over how close the 29-year-old actress and film producer to Angelina Jolie’s ex-husband.
“[Brad] made it clear how beautiful and talented he thinks she is,” the source alleged. “He is secretly gunning for Margot’s feelings to develop from platonic to romantic, and he hopes that if the marriage deteriorates any further, she’ll realize Brad’s the man she’s meant to be with.”
Before the story gets out of hand, Gossip Cop slammed the report, noting that there is no truth to the claims. The site explained that the real reason why Tom Ackerly was not at the premiere of Margot Robbie’s new flick is because of a scheduling conflict, and not because they were having some marriage problems.
Gossip Cop also pointed out that NW already made up some stories before about Brad Pitt and Margot Robbie being romantically linked. In fact, the tabloid even went on to say that Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio were fighting for Margot Robbie’s affection.
This is quite hard to believe as both men know that Margot is a married woman. It is safe to say that they are simply Once Upon a Time in Hollywood co-stars who formed a good friendship.
