Rumors have been rife that Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban are fighting over the handling of their daughters' showbiz careers. Reports claimed that Keith Urban is not a big fan of Nicole getting an agent for their daughters Sunday and Faith and that he is entirely against the idea of the children becoming actors.
It was Woman's Day who first reported on the conflict and cited a source in saying that the country singer was ultimately against Nicole Kidman getting an agent for their two daughters after both appeared as extras on her latest HBO project Big Little Lies as well as the film The Undoing. Sunday, who is now 11 years old and her little sister Faith, who is now eight also did some voice work for the new Angry Birds movie where they joined the children of Gal Gadot and Viola Davis in a scene that involves the hatchlings.
The outfit further reported that Sunday begged her mom to do more acting work and that Nicole wanted to find an agent for the girls to get them started in the business, but Keith was adamant against his wife being a stage mom and encouraging the girls on the acting path.
However, the rumors of conflict between Keith and Nicole were debunked by Gossip Cop after the entertainment blog reached out to Keith Urban's rep to shed light on the issue.
According to Urban's rep, there is no truth to the rumors. First, Nicole Kidman did not acquire the services of an agent for their daughters, and second, the celebrity couple has always been on the same page about the welfare of their daughters.
Keith's rep further clarified that Nicole wasn't actively pushing her daughters to embark on acting and was not getting jobs for them. The rep said that Sunday and Faith were given the acting roles for fun and that Keith had no problems with it.
Despite claims of trouble in paradise, Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman's marriage is growing strong, as Keith recently revealed that his latest song, his wife of thirteen years inspired "Gemini," reported People.
Gemini is a song that talks about the two facets of Nicole Kidman's character and the star admitted that she was a bit embarrassed when her husband described her as a "maniac in the bed but a Brainiac in the head." However, she said that she doesn't like to censor his art.
"I think she liked it. I hope so. Yeah, it's a good dance song," Keith said.
