Inbar Lavi had made her presence felt when she joined Lucifer Season 4 as Eve, Lucifer's (Tom Ellis) former fling. Now that Lucifer Season 5 is in the works, will it be possible to see Eve again and continue an affair with Maze (Lesley-Ann Brandt)?
Lavi has brought laughs, drama, and fun to the series. She managed to bring out the devilish side of Lucifer, but she eventually realized that he is not the person she used to know.
Lucifer is now the man who Chloe (Lauren German) wants him to be. He even wants to stay this way compared to the life he has back in hell. Although Eve has no chance with Lucifer at all, things have changed when she forms a relationship with Maze, per CarterMatt.
Maze has fallen for Eve as they worked together to make Lucifer jealous. In the previous season finale, it seemed like there could be something brewing between the two.
Eve left the earth to find her self. She wanted to be the person not defined by her relationship. So would Eve return to Lucifer Season 5 for Maze?
Fans have been clamoring to see Eve again to continue her storyline with Maze. Executive producer Joe Henderson even teased there is a strong possibility to her return. "We just have to figure out what story is there and how much we want to explore," he said, via TVInsider.
Eve also had fallen for Maze, too, when she started to tell her her feelings about Lucifer. So, there are theories there will be a new romance between the two in Lucifer Season 5.
As this will be the final season, there may be a newly formed Eve-Maze bond, specially made for Maze's fans so that they can be finally contented of her relationship status. If it is not Eve, there may be someone coming to be Maze's, true love.
As it remains to be seen if Eve will return to Lucifer Season 5, an arc about her may be featured before the end. Maze, truly, deserves a happy ending after everything she has gone through.
Eve is maybe the one who could give her that happiness in the last and final season. Eve wanted to make sure that she was not giving Maze a fake version of herself should they be together again. If she did return, they could stay happily ever after.
Netflix has added up more episodes for the show's final season. Lucifer Season 5 will now have 16 episodes and expected to be out in 2020.
