Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Charles are reportedly backing Meghan Markle all the way even though the Duchess of Sussex has recently received backlash.
Markle has been previously criticized because of her work, but despite that, Queen Elizabeth and Prince Charles gave their full support to her. The Duchess is transitioning into royal life after she gave up her career as an actress when she married Prince Harry, yet she's facing backlash from the public due to her work.
The Duchess of Sussex, who celebrated her 38th birthday on August 4, has been questioned over the secrecy surrounding their son Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor christening, their recent strategy on Instagram, and the £2.3m ($2.7m) revamp of Frogmore Cottage.
Markle further faces backslash as she's also settling into motherhood in the public eye, but despite that, Queen Elizabeth and Prince Charles still support the Duchess in whatever she does. According to royal expert and author Marie Koenig, the Duchess of Sussex wouldn't any of her works without the approval of the monarch.
Koenig claimed that if Her Majesty or the Prince of Wales didn't approve the charitable endeavors of Prince Harry and Markle, then the royal couple wouldn't be doing any of it. But it seems like Queen Elizabeth and Prince Charles are fine with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's works.
Also, Her Majesty also showed her support to Markle as the Duchess has been invited to join the monarch for a few days in Balmoral. It was reportedly the first time Markle has been invited, and the Queen's invitation is said to be a sign she's fond of Prince Harry's wife.
Reports said the Balmoral Estate is one of Queen Elizabeth's favorite places to go, so her invitation to Markle says more about how she views her granddaughter-in-law. A source also claims Her Majesty and her husband Prince Philip adore the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, as well as their son Archie.
Meanwhile, the Duchess reportedly has a good relationship with her father-in-law as well. There were reports that Prince Charles has been very supportive of Markle from the start. The Prince of Wales was the one who accompanied the Duchess on her big day after her father Thomas Markle decided not to go to the royal wedding as he's reportedly recovering from heart surgery that time.
Moreover, Prince Charles reportedly admires how the Duchess becomes his son's strength and backbone, and he even praised his daughter-in-law for being nice and intelligent. The heir apparent also said the Duchess of Sussex makes Prince Harry happy.
