The marriage of Daniel Craig and Rachel Weisz have been growing strong for the past eight years, but recent reports have hinted that there may be some tension in the relationship because of the injury suffered by the James Bond star on the set of Bond 25.

It was previously reported that Daniel Craig suffered from an ankle injury last June which required the actor to undergo surgery and halt production temporarily. However, Australian magazine NW had indicated that the trouble started when Daniel refused to hire medical staff to aid his recovery because of his need for privacy.

According to the magazine, because Daniel was very private, he only wanted Rachel to take care of him while he was recovering and this took a toll on The Favourite actress who was complaining that she needed a break.

The magazine cited a source who said that Rachel was relieved to have her husband back on set because she was tired of waiting on him hand and foot while he was recuperating for a month.

Entertainment site Gossip Cop took the initiative to reach out to a source close to the couple. The insider said that it was completely ridiculous to claim that Daniel's injury could lead to divorce. The source also denied that Daniel forced Rachel to nurse him back to health.

Daniel Craig and Rachel Weisz recently celebrated their eighth anniversary in London. While Daniel is busy working on the Bond 25 movie, Rachel has been confirmed to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe for the Black Widow movie. She is set to play the role of Melina Vostokoff, a Russian agent who will later become the Iron Maiden.

While husband and wife are enjoying successful film careers, the hype is strong behind the 25th Bond movie. It has previously been reported by People that no less than Prince Charles was offered to play a role in the iconic spy franchise.

"When he visited the film set a few weeks ago, it was discussed. Now he is considering it," a source from the production confirmed.

Should the Prince of Wales agree to make his Hollywood debut, he would be following the footsteps of Queen Elizabeth II, who previously appeared in the franchise as herself in 2012 with Daniel Craig.

"They loved the buzz around the Queen's appearance alongside Daniel Craig and thought Charles could top even that," the source further said.
