Read at your own risk: This article contains spoilers for Good Trouble Season 2.
Good Trouble Season 2 is now reaching its finale. And based on the previously aired episode titled, Disruptions, a lot has happened already. In fact, the plot continues to thicken as the season progresses.
The previous episode has shown Callie's final decision to make a huge change in her life. With this decision at hand, she ended up moving out of the Coterie and chose to move in with Jamie. This became a huge step for her. But while it may appear as a great improvement on her arc, Mariana was placed in the middle of a huge dispute as she was asked to step down from her position.
Aside from the Foster sister's life-changing events, a lot has happened as well on the other characters' lives. Kendra fired Angela, Alice learned the truth behind Joey's affair, Jennifer admitted her pregnancy to Dennis, and Gael broke up with Elijah.
According to Cartermatt, these turnout of events caused a huge surprise among the fans. And while everyone has become so much eager to learn what will happen next, it has been recently revealed that Good Trouble Season 2 is taking a long hiatus.
The publication further went on to reveal that there is no confirmed return date yet. And it seems that this will remain unknown for quite a long time. In fact, they've asserted that it quite likely for the series to continue come the early months of 2020. So, it really saddens the majority of the fans upon learning that there will be no new episodes of Good Trouble Season 2 in the coming months.
The show's schedule, along with Freeform's, is pretty difficult to discern. Not to mention, the network's "winter" and "summer finales" are also confusing for the fans' part. Even so, it seems that Freeform is keeping its usual model when it comes to their series materials.
As for the show's renewal details, little has been shared about the matter. And since Good Trouble is taking a long break before it returns, it is expected that Freeform will not release any update about their renewal decisions.
Nevertheless, the fans remain to be firm and positive that the series will be given another green light for its third run despite losing about 20 percent of its original viewers after airing nine episodes for the current run.
