Poldark Season 5 has truly arrived with much more dramas and disputes surrounding the characters. And last week's episode has cemented the show's outstanding and impressive heartbreaking story arcs.

Some reports have speculated that someone might leave town for good after experiencing excruciating pain throughout the show. And as any fan would know, the current season has truly become a dramatic series that any viewer could relate to.

As per Cartermatt, the previous episode showed different angles of pain and heartache. On George's side, his grief over the loss of his wife, Elizabeth, caused him to think of committing suicide. But thanks to Dr. Enys, he was able to pull through. Even so, his acceptance does not mean that he is no longer suffering.

On Cecily and Geoffrey's arc, the fourth episode of the season showed their love for each other and how they are willing to sacrifice their freedom for their emotions. And right after learning that Ralph Hanson sets Cecily to marry George Warleggan, which they call as a "business transaction," Cecily and Geoffrey decided to elope.

Quite obviously, many fans think that the characters who will be leaving town for the upcoming episode are Cecile and Geoffrey. But as per Good Housekeeping, the official preview for Poldark Season 5 Episode 5, somehow, hints that Ross might be this person of concern.

As it happens, the teaser shows Demelza, with the two kids, Jeremy and Clowence, waving their goodbyes to someone. And the looks on their faces are huge tells that it might be the head of their family, Ross.

But while he may be leaving the family to accomplish his businesses, the fans are very much certain that his "leaving" is not the huge deal of concern for the show, as of the moment. And what's even more intriguing is the fact that the characters surrounding the family are seemingly experiencing more troubles and dramas than Ross and Demelza.

In a recap shared by The Sun, Poldark Season 5 Episode 4 also showed Morwenna's actual struggle and pain after losing her son to the mother of her late husband. But what made it so much more painful was when she talked to Jon and asked him if he remembers her. Sadly, he thinks of her as a stranger.

While these arcs are truly captivating in the sense that they are heartbreaking and painful, Poldark Season 5 will surely offer so much more thrilling and intriguing plots in its future installments. It is also worth noting that the current is now four episodes deep. This means that it is now headed to its second half and will soon reach its imminent end.

Poldark Season 5 Episode 5 is set to premiere on August 11, on BBC One.
