Anne with an E Season 3 will be soon seen on Netflix, and fans are now excited to see Anne (Amybeth McNulty) return to the small screen. A lot is about to happen in the new season as it is about to introduce the indigenous storyline with a new cast of characters.

The show has been following the book, Anne of Green Gables, on which the show is based. The new season will move forward to the end of the first novel, per What's on Netflix.

Here, Anne will be turning 16-years-old. Hence, fans are about to see her transition as a woman dealing with grown-up issues, like a new romance and discoveries. It will also reveal her desire to know more about her birth parents.

Anne with an E Season 3 will also introduce its first Indigenous storyline and characters as the town of Green Gambles will interact with the camp of the Mi'kmaq nation. The 12-year-old Kiawenti: io Tarbell will join the series as Ka'kwet.

The Mohawk from Akwesasne will play the role of an independent, resilient Mi'kmaq girl who will befriend Anne. Showrunner Moira Walley-Beckett and executive producer Miranda de Pencier chose Tarbell after an extensive, open-call search across Canada.

"There is an energetic charisma and undeniable intelligence to Kiawenti:io that aligns so perfectly with the character of Ka'kwet," de Pencier said about Tarbell, via News 1130. "Moira and I can't wait for Anne with an E fans to meet her."

Other stars that will play the Indigenous roles are Brandon Oakes and Dana Jeffrey. Aside from this storyline, Anne with an E Season 3 is said to introduce characters and stories that will tackle the issues about identity, feminism, bullying, and gender parity.

In fact, the new season will reportedly be the show's most intense installment yet, as it will also feature issues about inclusion, romance, pathos, and growing pains for all the characters. There are even rumors a big death is about to come with Ruby. Kyla Matthews' character may face a tragic end in the series

Netflix has yet to announce when Anne with an E Season 3 will be out. However, it is expected to be due for release anytime this year. But as its production only began in March, it may be out in the late summer or early fall. So, fans have to wait for the streaming service's official news and update about it.
