Fans are now on a waiting game once again for One-Punch Man Season 3. After the previous season's major cliffhanger, it looks like there will be a new villain as some viewers hope a return to its original studio, Madhouse.

Saitama managed to defeat Elder Centipede in the previous season, while Garou got abducted by the new villain, the Monster Association. The group of Mysterious Beings played a significant role in Season 2. However, it still tried to avoid revealing too much about this big bad.

Using the manga series as a reference, according to ScreenRant, One-Punch Man Season 3 may feature the Heroes Association launching an attack against its evil counterparts. The major S-Class heroes will infiltrate their hideout and engage in one-on-one battles.

Hence, the new season is expected to be action-packed as there might be a lot of epic scenes from the favorite heroes and the new villains. However, Saitama's lack of screen time may continue, and Genos may rarely be seen.

After Elder Centipede's defeat, One-Punch Man Season 3 may heavily focus on the characters of Child Emperor, Atomic Samurai, and Garou. It may also introduce new monsters. Saitama, too, may take part in this mission.

Of course, the third installment is expected to have a lot of rumors, which is the manga series' trademark. Even the monsters showed they could be fun and source of some comedic scenes.

Meanwhile, as fans took four months to wait for Season 2's release, they are hoping One-Punch Man Season 3 would be out sooner than later. They also wanted to see the show return to its original production house, Madhouse.

ComicBook noted it is possible for the series to return to Madhouse. The moved to J.C. Staff for Season 2 caused a lot of controversies and even complaints regarding its style and concept.

Season 1 received universal praise for its impressive visuals and action, while Season 2 got criticized and doubts. Hence, viewers found Madhouse better than J.C. Staff to do the series.

Shingo Natsume's, Season 1's director, exit is said to be the reason behind the production studio's move. So if Natsume managed to return to direct One-Punch Man Season 3, there is a big possibility Madhouse will handle its production.

People behind the manga series are now reportedly planning One-Punch Man Season 3. However, there is no official update about its release date. Hopefully, fans will never wait for four years again, and the show may be out in the latter half of 2020 or early 2021.
