There are a lot of questions raised by the police in The InBetween season 1 episode 9, but they eventually ended in a chilling conclusion. It is possible that there's a serial killer out there for more than 30 years and they fell right through the cracks. No one's aware what's happening, but they do know that the problem is serious.
Some of the characters were caught in a delicate position as they need to try to resolve the case without suffering from embarrassment. And as mentioned in the synopsis, the disappearance of Millie involves an old acquaintance Ed Roven.

Meanwhile, The InBetween season 1 episode 10, which will air on Wednesday, August 14, will be the season finale and Cassie takes on Ed in here. Throughout the season, she has been doing her best just to put him both out of sight and out of mind, but that's something that might not be possible anymore.
Cassie may not like Ed, but he's someone who could give her answers that's running on her mind. Ed might have an important role at this point, so Cassie needs to deal with him. Also, Damien and Tom will investigate the murder of a young schoolteacher, and they soon discover that her killer is someone very close to home.
