After the long-rumored ending of the hit series, NCIS: Los Angeles, this year, everything has been put to rest when CBS announced that the show would return for a new season.

In an interview with TV Line, it has been explained that both NCIS: Los Angeles and NCIS: New Orleans will be returning to the network with all-new episodes. And this is because these shows have become "key pillars" to the network's schedule, President of CBS Entertainment, Kelly Kahl, revealed.

Among all the scripted drama series that the network offers, these two spin-off shows are placed at the fifth and sixth spot. Thanks to its loyal and strong fanbase, the ratings and numbers in terms of viewership have remained significant over the years. This is why it is not surprising at all as to why CBS granted the green light to these shows back in April.

As of the moment, NCIS: Los Angeles Season 11 is already preparing for its arrival on the network. While the actual date of release is not yet disclosed to the public, Cartermatt stated that the new season would premiere this fall.

In considering the usual schedules of the previous seasons' premieres, it is highly likely that the show will arrive in the latter days of September or early weeks of October.

But whatever the case, the publication has noted that the filming and production are already in the process. There are a few details that have been shared by the series cast members about the new season.

Although these details only serve as huge hints and teasers for NCIS: Los Angeles Season 11, they still create the huge "excitement" among the fans of the show. And one of the most notable details is the fact that Eric Christian Olsen is seemingly changing his overall "looks" for the new season.

Country Living also has a few thoughts in mind about the show's arrival for a new season. As per the report, it seems that Renee Felice Smith and Barrett Foa, who play the roles of Nell Jones and Eric Beale, respectively, may not return for the next season.

While this is not entirely a sure thing to ponder on, the lack of "excitement" and social media update from the artists have become "tells" among the fans that they may no longer return to the show.

As for Daniela Ruah, Chris O'Donnell, and LL Cool J, they are certainly returning for NCIS: Los Angeles Season 11. And the fans are hoping the same thing will apply to Linda Hunt.
