A few months ago, Outlander star, Sam Heughan, has been seen in a Starz event along with his co-stars. And despite the busy schedule that they all have since the series' production, and filming is currently ongoing, the celebrities still found time to take a pause and celebrate the event together.
According to Cheat Sheet, the well-known actor who plays the role of Jamie Fraser in Outlander has talked about several things including his perceptions of love, his thoughts on the series, and his current career in the industry.
As any fan knows it, Sam Heughan rarely talks about his romantic relationships. And based on reports, the celebrity wants to keep it under the wraps for the sake of his privacy. While this is largely understandable considering how 'public" the show business is, many fans are still eager to learn more about his personal life.
The publication revealed that Sam believes in "one great love" just like most people. The actor has mentioned that this is probably the reason why Diana Gabaldon's novel series has become a hit material considering the premise of the books. And this makes Jamie and Claire's relationship a much more ideal entity for his perception of great love.
He further went on to claim that he would love to find his true love. But as what the report insists, the actor did not specifically reveal whether he has found it already or still in the process of looking.
Since Outlander's arrival in 2014 on Starz, Sam's relationships have been kept private. But even so, this did not hinder the fans and reporters from looking for the answers. And based on the general knowledge of the fandom, many allegations were made previously that Sam Heughan and Twin Peak star, Amy Shiels, are dating.
Their social media posts became the "receipts" of these reports. However, no word has heard from both sides. And as per Cheat Sheet, the alleged relationship cannot be confirmed.
But aside from his love life, Sam Heughan also talked about Outlander Season 5. And per his statements, it seems that the series is having a hard time accomplishing the whole production and filming.
He pointed out that the fifth season, which will cover Diana Gabaldon's The Fiery Cross from the novel series, has a much bigger scope in terms of plots, characters, and arcs. Hence, it has become more challenging for everyone to wrap things up.
Nevertheless, everyone has remained positive that Outlander Season 5 will surely arrive in the early months of 2020.
