Goo Hye Sun is refuting the agency's statements regarding their divorce.
HB Entertainment had confirmed rumors of the couple's divorce stating, "they mutually decided to divorce after long discussions."
However, Goo Hye Sun revealed on her Instagram on the 18th that "She was posting urgently before the official press release because it's a situation that they both hadn't mutually agreed to." She stated, "He didn't discuss it with me. I want to keep my home."
Along with prior text messages, Goo also shared a lengthy text message sent to Ahn Jae-hyung earlier in the day. In the messages shared, Goo Hye Sun said, "I read the katalks where you and the company CEO swore at me. I heard that you told the CEO about the loss of trust between us as a couple. It seems wrong for the company to deal with our divorce. It's only right for me to leave the company."
She added, "The reason for the divorce is the same as before. Your change of heart. You betrayed me."

Goo Hye Sun had shared on her Instagram earlier that day that her husband, Ahn Jae Hyun, who had turned into a "gwontae" [lost the spark], wants a divorce and that she's trying to protect her family. Later that day, she shared further text conversations she had with Ahn Jae Hyun explaining that the reason why she's sharing the disagreements was because her mother was in shock and was in very poor health. However, as the controversy over the feud grew rapidly, Goo deleted all the postings she had made.
After their agency HB Entertainment revealed their official positions, Goo who had erased all previous posts posted a new post again, drawing renewed attention on the couple's messy divorce.
