Kit Harington, who played Jon Snow, finally breaks his silence about Game of Thrones Season 8. Just like Sophie Turner and the rest of the fans, the 32-year-old star has his concept of the show's ending and also revealed why he hates his dragon scenes.

In an interview with the Hollywood Reporter, Harington said his dragon-riding scenes in the final season were the hardest part of the production. It was even harder compared to the fight sequences and gruesome deaths.

Now, Harington understands why Emilia Clarke, who played the Mother of Dragons Daenerys Targaryen, has been "moaning about it for seasons." And he knows she is not being exaggerated about it.

"Emilia had been moaning about it for seasons, and I was like, 'Yeah, yeah, yeah. Whatever. You have not been through the mud in Northern Ireland," he said. "But she was absolutely right. It was horrific. It's not acting at all. It is not acting, it never will be acting, and it is not what I'd signed up for."

Harington even compared the time when he filmed the episode "Battle of the Bastards" to the time he was on the back of the buck that was used for filming the dragon-riding scenes. And, he felt it was very uncomfortable to do as a man.

Rose Leslie's husband also discussed the much-talked-about scene in Game of Thrones Season 8 when Arya Stark (Maisie Williams) killed the Night King (Vladimír Furdík). Harington admitted he was a little pissed off when he didn't get the chance to kill the show's big bad because he had wanted to do that.

Just like everyone, Harington, too, was surprised that he was not the one who would end up the evil villain's life. However, Harington was still happy for Williams and her character with the development.

He even saw it as a great twist, tying up Arya's journey in a "beautiful way" after building up her skills to become an assassin. The Gunpowder star also loved his character's ending, when Jon went back to the North, leaving Bran (Isaac Hempstead Wright) behind as the new King despite the clamor.

Meanwhile, George R.R. Martin, the main brain behind the phenomenon television series and the author of A Song of Ice and Fire, on which the show is based also talked about Game of Thrones Season 8. The 70-year-old novelist revealed he felt liberated when the show ended, although Game of Thrones Prequel would begin soon, per Evening Standard.

Martin believed the television series was not good for him as it only slowed him down. Even though he had a good day, he would feel terrible thinking about the book he had to finish. The famed author still yet to complete A Song of Ice and Fire last two novels: The Winds of Winter and A Dream of Spring despite Game of Thrones Season 8 ending.
