Korean Police have given an update on their investigation into the illegal gambling overseas.
The Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency held a press conference on the 19th and an official revealed, "We will be summoning Yang Hyun Suk and Seungri soon after we complete an analysis into the documents seized from the search and seizure Saturday."
When asked whether they plan to summon Yang Hyun Suk for the alleged embezzling of company funds from YG artist concerts for his gambling abroad the official said, "We are not investigating the embezzlement case."
Seoul police conducted a seize and search of YG offices in Mapo-gu Seoul for five hours from 9:00 am to 2 pm to secure data on suspected habitual gambling abroad. Police secured records from former YG representative offices and accounting departments but did not complete a seizure search on Yang Hyun Suk's home.
The amount of documents seized from the YG raid were identified as two boxes.
