The buzz around Teen Titans season 6 renewal is getting louder as the release of the crossover movie Teen Titans Go! Vs. Teen Titans is drawing closer. While excitement is building up among the fans, even the cast members are hopeful that the show will get another shot more than a decade after its cancellation.

Voice actress Tara Strong (as Raven) shared her thoughts about a potential Teen Titans season 6 return. She was at the recent Comic-Con to promote the movie, where she reprised her role, and also shared the experience she had working on the animated series again.

"I can't think of any other show that's had this dynamic, where it was such a huge success, such a fan favorite, for OG, and everyone has been begging for season 6," Strong said in an interview with Bleeding Cool. "We want it as much as they do. I think we really need, and the fans need, a season six."

In 2018, Strong also posted on Twitter that the fate of Teen Titans season 6 is tied to the success of the upcoming movie release. If that's possible, then fans of the franchise will get a new season of Teen Titans, as well as Teen Titans Go!

So, the movie Teen Titans Go! Vs. Teen Titans is set for a digital release this coming Sept. 24, 2019. The Blu-ray and DVD release will follow a month later and if sales for both these releases peak then fans have all the reason to celebrate and anticipate a Teen Titans season 6.

Meanwhile, this early, reviews from the Comic-Con presentation of Teen Titans Go! Vs. Teen Titans have predicted a box office hit.

According to an IGN review, fans of the original series and its second iteration are going to be pleased with the movie. CBR's review pointed out that the film is a love letter to the original Teen Titans and the history of the franchise.

Teen Titans was developed for Cartoon Network in the early 2000s and premiered on television in July 2003. The show was set for four seasons, but due to its popularity, Cartoon Network ordered a Teen Titans season 5, which aired in 2006.

By September that same year, Teen Titans had a movie that served as the finale of the series. Since then, however, fans still hope for the show's return as it was one of the channel's most beloved animated series, which was more popular than Teen Titans Go!
