K-pop stars have all the advantages to look flawless on stage and screen. They have a team of expert to do their makeup, choose their stylish wardrobe, and all that jazz. For them, looking good is easy.
So when BTS’s Jin called himself “Worldwide Handsome,” nobody complained. His incredible outer appearance is matched by his wit and confidence, making him the perfect person to be given that title.
Having “Worldwide Handsome” as his official nickname, people understandably expect a lot from Jin. Although fans would always appreciate his looks, critics would most of the time dissect and find faults in his appearance.
So is the 26-year-old singer and songwriter still a worldwide handsome off stage? As it turns out, he wasn’t lying at all.
Those who were lucky enough to see Jin in person revealed what he looks like in real life. “I was able to see him really close. He had a really small face and wide shoulders. He was super handsome,” one fan said. “When you see him, you’ll automatically say damn… he’s handsome. And his shoulders were super wide. He had a good build,” another one shared, adding that even though all of the BTS members are thin with wide shoulders, Jin’s built is like another level.
One ARMY also said, “I saw him from up close at their concert and I thought his face was going to disappear; it was so small. His skin was flawless, and he was just so handsome.”
Most of the comments are about Jin’s small face and wide shoulders. Koreans find someone who has a small face very attractive while having wide shoulders is seen as having a slender yet strong body.
With Jin having a small face and wide shoulders, he is indeed the “Worldwide Handsome.” One fan even went on to say that the oldest member of BTS is the “best-looking in person” on the Big Hit Entertainment group.
Aside from his small face and wide shoulders, Jin is also known for his luscious lips. A lot of fans who saw him in person commented how nice and sexy the BTS star’s lips are, especially his lower lip. One ARMY even said that he looked like an alpaca, in the best way possible.
Handsome, confident, and honest - if this is not the characteristics of a "Worldwide Handsome," then we don't know what is.
