Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson are, undeniably, two of the most sought-after stars in Hollywood today. As a matter of fact, their names continue to make it to the headlines even after they temporarily stayed away from the limelight after the Twilight series concluded. Now that Kristen and Robert are back to the mainstream, some fans wonder if the duo could retain their hard-earn credibility in their upcoming new movies.

Earlier this year, Elizabeth Banks confirmed that Kristen Stewart would be back to the big screens via the upcoming Charlie's Angels reboot movie. The 45-year-old American actress-director revealed that the imminent film would be more of a continuation of the previous installments of its television and movie versions. Aside from Robert Pattinson's ex-girlfriend, Naomi Scott, Ella Balinska, Noah Centineo, Patrick Stewart, Djimon Hounsou, Sam Claflin, Luis Gerardo Mendez, Jonathan Tucker, and Nat Faxon are also appearing in the said motion picture.

Elizabeth also shared that she wanted to honor the original legacy of Charlie's Angels, which is to bring things into the present time. "We have a lot of easter eggs in the movie," the director shared about Kristen Stewart's upcoming new movie. "We really pay homage to a lot of the history of Charlie's Angels, from costumes that we feature and props and photos," she went on. In other words, avid followers of Robert Pattinson's former ladylove would witness how the world has changed in the imminent American action comedy film.

Robert Pattinson, for his part, is set to portray another tortured anti-hero character in the upcoming Batman remake helmed by Matt Reeves. The ex-boyfriend of Kristen Stewart landed the role after Ben Affleck decided to hang up his cape. Set in the DC Extended Universe, the upcoming The Batman movie would center on the adventures of a younger Bruce Wayne. And just like the Twilight, the new iteration of the DC Comic icon would be a series with three installments.

No other details have been revealed about the imminent new film, especially the official list of cast members and the official trailer. However, it is reported that Robert Pattinson's upcoming movie would be released on June 25, 2021. Kristen Stewart's Charlie's Angels film, on the other hand, is scheduled to premiere on November 15, 2019.

Now that Kristen and Robert have finally moved on from playing as teenage lovers in a vampire-themed movie series, would they still get the same amount of support? Would the former lovebirds be able to break box-office records again via their respective new movies? Well, that is something we all should watch out for.
