Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are enjoying the rest of summer just like the locals. They have been recently spotted having a family lunch at a local pub with baby Archie Harrison.
Witnesses told The Sun that Duchess Meghan carried her baby most of the time while she and Prince Harry dined together at The Rose Crown. Located at Winkfield village in Berkshire, the restaurant is some 10 minutes away from Frogmore Cottage, the royals' home.
"They were on a table with, I presume, a private secretary," the witness said. "Meghan was cradling Archie most of the time. The little lad was as good as gold, I didn't hear him cry once while he was there."
It was a low-key $15 roasted lunch with Prince Harry drinking a couple of booze to unwind. Duchess Meghan didn't drink alcohol. There were a few people around but most didn't notice the royal couple and their baby, except for the staff who served them. The witnesses also said that it looked like Duchess Meghan and Prince Harry are regulars of this pub.
The observers also said that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex talked and laughed like normal despite the peering eyes and the controversy surrounding them in recent weeks. The sources said that it was nice to see this royal family enjoying their afternoon.
Meanwhile, Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan are part of a What's Up group for the family. According to Prince Harry's cousin-in-law, Mike Tindall, they do keep tabs of each other on the app and plan get together with their children.
Speaking on the show Good Morning Britain, Tindall said that it's normal these days for families to have a group app. So, it's not as if it's a big secret that shouldn't be revealed.
Tindall is the husband of Zara Tindall, the Queen's granddaughter and the daughter of Princess Anne. Tindall said there are occasional posts in this What's Up group with the "cousins," which refers to Prince Harry, Prince William, Princess Eugenie, Princess Beatrice, and their respective spouses.
Meanwhile, Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan missed spending the weekend with the cousins at Balmoral, the Queen's summer house. Prince William and Duchess Kate Middleton were recently there to spend time with the Queen. It is believed that Zara and Mike also spent the same weekend as the Cambridges.
It's unclear when Sussex family are planning to visit the Queen in Scotland as Prince Harry is supposed to attend an event of one of the charities that the royals support.
