Many fans are already excited about the upcoming premiere of Rick and Morty Season 4 after several months of waiting. Viewers thought that the American adult animated science fiction sitcom would be canceled since Adult Swim had kept mum about it until July during the San Diego Comic-Con. So, what should we expect in the upcoming fourth installment?

New reports have it that the voice cast for Rick and Morty Season 4 include Paul Giamatti, Sam Neil, Taika Waititi, and Kathleen Turner. In an interview, series co-creator Justin Roiland said fans should watch Season 3 again before watching the imminent fourth installment. He even claimed that the fourth season would be a mass hit.

Dan Harmon also shared some details about the forthcoming Rick and Morty Season 4. "I think it's safe to say without fear of being wrong that the gap between seasons 3 and 4 will be the longest and last time that it's ever so long that it's ridiculous," the co-creator of Justin Roiland told Entertainment Weekly. "I don't know how fast we can do it, but I know it will never be this long again," he added.

The pair revealed that Rick and Morty Season 4 would have a total of 10 episodes. Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon revealed that all episodes of the forthcoming new installment had been arranged in canonical order. The duo even revealed that they are now writing the plotline of the series' fifth installment.

As for the plot of the up-and-coming Rick and Morty Season 4, we still do not know that much. However, it was, previously, hinted that the first episode of the next installment would feature an interdimensional data aggregator Rick D-20420 was forced to create out from spare parts of a MacBook Pro laptop. Adult Swim, also, showed a finalized scene during a panel in San Diego Comic-Con in July wherein an alien named Gloopie (voiced by Taika Waititi) was introduced as Jerry works on an application.

It remains unclear if Gloopie's introduction would occur in the first episode of the series' fourth installment. What is sure, for now, is that Taika would join the popular television series, voicing an alien character in Rick and Morty Season 4. Adult Swim ordered 70 Rick and Morty episodes in May 2019, which hints that the show could run for longer than expected.

The upcoming fourth installment is set to premiere in November. For now, stay tuned to Business Times for more Rick and Morty Season 4 spoilers, predictions, theories, news, and updates!
